It started with a question nobody was asking: why do all the good cafes close at six? In a college town, the night is when things come alive. Study sessions stretch past sundown. Conversations deepen after dark. Ideas arrive uninvited at eleven.

Midnight Express was built for the people who don't fit the nine-to-five schedule. Students pulling all-nighters. Freelancers chasing deadlines. Friends who need one more hour at the table. We keep the lights on, the espresso flowing, and the music playing until the very last moment.

The Mediterranean influence runs deep. Our founder grew up in a household where za'atar was as common as salt, where coffee was brewed in a cezve, and where hospitality meant the door was always open. That spirit lives in every flatbread, every cortado, every board game left on the table for the next guest.

We believe a cafe should be a living room for the neighborhood. Local art on the walls, because galleries shouldn't have a monopoly on beauty.
